Interested in Coaching?

All applicants will be required to submit a coaching application, pass a CBI background check, and complete an approved Concussion Course.  The AYL/Spartans are partnering with USA FOOTBALL to certify coaches in Heads Up Tackling, Concussion Awareness, and Equipment Fitting.  Stay tuned for more information on how to access the USA FOOTBALL site through the Spartan Program.  If you are interested in helping teach kids the fundamentals of football, please contact the Football Director immediately at football@spartanyouthclub.com

There is no guarantee that you will receive a head coaching position until all background information and team availability is confirmed.

The Spartans now require EVERY COACH to complete training on the USA Football site after they have been appointed as a Head or Assistant Coach.

Both new and returning coaches must pass a CBI background check before coaching a team.
