Aurora Spartan Cheerleading is a traditional recreational cheer program, we pride ourselves in being the place to grow and learn new skills while making new friends!
What does Rec Cheer mean?
Youth/Rec Cheer is a discipline of cheer that involves athletes who cheer in support of other youth/rec sports, most often football. Youth/Rec cheer teams may also participate in competitions, performing a 2 1/2 minute routine composed of tumbling, stunting, pyramids, dance, and cheer segments.
Great for students K-8 of all levels & abilities; sideline cheer will cheer for our Aurora Spartan Football teams.
The season begins with a cheer camp in July and ends with the AYL Superbowl in November
Interested in coaching a sideline team?
Show team is our dual-season program that takes rec cheer to the next level! It is our program that most closely follows a traditional high school cheer program. Members must participate in sideline and will also participate in metro area competitions
The show team will participate:

- and perform at AYL football & basketball championships
-in other potential community performances
