Spartan Youth Club

The single A & AA season, will consist of 14 league games, with a 3 game post season AYL Championship tournament, for a total of 17 games played April through July.

League games will be played on Friday, Saturday and Sunday beginning Friday April 4, 2008 and will be concluded Sunday June 17, 2008. Teams will play no more than 2 games per week during the 11 week season. Teams will be allowed to designate up to four (4) no-play dates where games will not be scheduled. In the event of game cancellations, makeup games could be played Monday June 11, 2008 through Thursday June 14, 2008 at the discretion of the AYL Baseball Board.

At the conclusion of the 14 league games, ALL TEAMS will be seeded for a 3 game pool play AYL Championship tournament. Pool play games will begin Wednesday June 20, 2008 and will be concluded on Sunday July 1, 2008. The mandatory coaches meeting will be TBD.

The top teams in each age division will advance to the single elimination portion of the AYL Championship tournament. Single elimination games will begin Monday July 8, 2008, with the championship games played Friday July 12, 2008 through Sunday July 14, 2008.

Nearly 500 kids participated in our youth baseball program in 2007 thanks to the hard work and dedication of our volunteer coaches, volunteer administrators and parents. It is a highly organized league for children ages 5-14 focusing on fun, sportsmanship and the fundamentals of the game. Following the regular season, there will be a postseason tournament for both divisions.

Completed applications can be mailed to: Spartan Baseball, P.O. Box 460891, Aurora, CO 80046. Please include the signed registration form, a copy of your child's birth certificate (even if you have provided a copy in previous years), and a check for the registration fee amount.

Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday: 12:00 - 5:00 PM

Thursday: 4:00 - 7:00 PM
Saturday: 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM

Closed Sunday and Monday

The Spartan Store is located at 15106 E. Hampton Ave. in Aurora (southwest corner of Chambers and Hampden). Registration fees go directly to covering the cost of umpires, equipment, and field usage.
